Italian Pole Dance Federation
The Italian Pole Dance Federation (FIPD) was created in 2009 with the goal of establishing a network between Italian pole dancers, studio owners and those who are in love with the sport of pole fitness. Since its creation, each year the FIPD organizes the official Italian pole dance championship, and every six month offers instructor certifications and trainings, including the XPERT Pole Fitness professional training. As a CSEN member, the FIPD has the ability to provide every athlete and studio with insurance coverage and liability protection against injuries and general accidents, as well as issue CSEN recognized national sport diplomas. In addition, the FIPD is committed to promoting the growth of pole fitness worldwide and regularly sponsors Italian athletes in international competitions.
Mexican Pole Fitness Federation
The goal of the Mexican Pole Fitness Foundation (FMPF) is to support and promote pole fitness as a progressive, safe, and effective way to be fit and healthy. Amateur or professional, FMPF promotes the activity of pole fitness through congressional, national and international events, competitions, showcases, workshops, trainings, and certifications; designed to strengthen and tighten the integration and organization of schools and associations to build the best methods to practice, perform and teach pole fitness.

Frequently Asked Questions
XPERT is a professional training and a continuing education course, not a certification. Participants are not “certified” to teach pole fitness after completion of the training, nor do they receive a diploma. Rather, participants receive a certificate of completion indicating that they have successfully completed the 16-hour course and passed the written and practical exam portions of the training. As with any mode of fitness, continuing education is encouraged. Ongoing education will enhance pole fitness teaching skills and techniques.
XPERT is a comprehensive training that covers anatomy, movement, teaching techniques as well as beginning and intermediate pole moves. The training places a special emphasis on pole safety and spotting techniques, as well as safe and effective class design. The first day of the training will be split between lecture and practical. The second day will involve mostly practical and will end with the written and practical exam.
We are committed to helping you succeed. We provide registrants who do not pass the opportunity to retake both exams within 6 months at no additional charge. Re-testing can be done in person or via written and video submissions.
Click here for a full outline and overview of topics covered during the XPERT training.
At the start of the training, you will receive a written manual that is yours to keep. The Master Trainer thoroughly explains each topic in depth and is committed to preparing each trainee for the written and practical exam on Day 2.
The training is Level 1 & 2: Beginner and Intermediate. It’s recommended that the registrant have a basic knowledge of anatomy, body alignment, and simple strength training exercises and that he/she have practiced or instructed pole for a minimum of 6 months. XPERT is the ideal course for both new and seasoned pole fitness instructors-enhancing teaching skills and expanding pole fitness knowledge. Participants do not need to have prior experience as a fitness instructor. Prior experience in one or more of the following areas is helpful: dance, gymnastics, yoga or pilates.
We recommend that you refrain from wearing lotion or oil on the days of the training and wear shorts and a tank top otherwise you may find it difficult to grip the pole. Bring a change of clothes and please be aware that temperatures vary in the studio environment so you will need to dress accordingly.
There will be a one hour lunch break each day. Do bring snacks and water with you to the training to hold you over should you need something while the training is taking place.
We do not issue refunds and the monies collected may not be transferred or substituted for another service. If for any reason you are unable to attend the training which you registered and paid for, you must send an email to registration@xpertpolefitness.com to reschedule to attend an alternate training at a later date.
